Pontoon Boats, Skiffs, Jon Boats for rent on the Suwannee River
Boat Rental Policies & Procedures
When you arrive:
- Park your vehicle(s) in the parking area inside the gate across from the office (if not
staying in the campground.)
- The person responsible for the reservation/boat needs to be at the office no later than
9:45 am. Bring your driver’s license and a credit card (even with paid reservations).
- The person driving the boat must be at the dock no later than 9:50 am for instructions.
Your entire group does not need to be ready to go currently – just the driver. Per
Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Laws no one under the age of twenty-five is allowed to operate our boats at any time.
- Any children that do not have their own life jacket will need to be weighed for an
appropriate size jacket in the office during check in.
What to bring:
- Driver’s License and credit card as noted above.
- If you have personal life jackets for your children, especially infants, please bring them.
We will provide adult life jackets and the required throw cushion. We do have some
basic children’s sizes if you do not have any.
When you return:
- Boats must be returned no later than 4:30 pm.
- Park the boat in the same slip you took it from.
- Boats must be free from damage, garbage, fish bait, mud and piles of sand or debris. If
not a $150.00 cleaning fee will be applied to your credit card.
- Return the life jackets, throw cushion, and keys to the office.
- Some boats will have an extra can of gas. If you use any or all, there is a charge of
$30.00 cash only you will owe. Failure to inform the office upon returning the boat that
you have used any or all will result in an additional fee applied to your credit card.
